Have you experienced trauma, low mood or motivation, panic attacks or difficulty with managing emotions? Perhaps you feel stuck in the past, worry about the future, or have important relationships which may be contributing to your stress. There are many reasons why we begin to struggle. We may have unprocessed traumas, difficult life situations, or genetic predispositions which impact our bodies and/or ability to cope in a healthy way. We may feel lost or not acting in line with how we want to be. Sometimes we don't know where to start. Many of us feel this way. You are not alone.
I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach and EMDR, evidence-based interventions which help us uncover what might be holding you back, explore what you want more or less of in your life, identify values, learn skills and create a workable action plan that will help you reach your goals.
Everyone goes through tough times, but there is help and hope for a better life. We will create a clear picture of what you want to achieve, learn mindfulness tools and body-based strategies which can decrease mental suffering. I collaborate with my clients to help them make the changes they want to be the architect of their futures.
