Walking in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time hiking in the forest reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. This six week hiking group will combine hiking with weekly mental health and wellbeing topics such as the power of positive psychology, the science of happiness and engaging practice that will provide a break from the feeling of always being ‘switched-on’.
