Connection is hard. We are all striving to belong. Belong to ourselves, in our own skin and in relationships with others. For far too many, past hurts keeps us from what we most need- real human connection with another caring human. My office strives to be that place where people can be without judgment or shame. A place to learn real skills to help us feel nurtured and safe. A place to explore hurt in past relationships and how to create, maybe for the first time, the ability to care for and be cared for by others. A place that embodies growth and change with grace and compassion.
In the office you not only learn to connect with yourself but to connect in relationship, to find genuine community. (Yes it does exist). You get to learn real skills on how to end cycles of conflict and rejection. When we know how our brains work, and how other’s brains work, we get the keys to the puzzle that has confounded us our entire lives.
I have 20 years experience working with trauma, neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism) & relationship counseling. My office is a safe space where everyone is welcome and affirmed. A beautiful social group of differently wired adults geared toward Autistics, ADHDers and Developmental trauma. The group celebrates the lived experience of neurodiversity, giving a safe space without masks or hypervigilance. Bring your craft/hyperfocus/fidget and humor. The group served to bring community and connection. It is a place to vent frustrations with other humans who have experienced the distress of living in a world build for sameness and conformity. While the group is primarily late in life diagnosed professional AFAB folks, all are welcome. Call for more information regarding time and location.
