THERAPY GROUP
Therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons
Let's Connect (231) 259-9913
Dungeons & Dragons is a collaborative storytelling game using roleplaying and dice - think improv theater where the players are both the actors and audience. A group of adventurers sets out on quests while learning about themselves along the way. With a therapist as the Dungeon Master, players can also gain several social skills, such as: empathy, frustration tolerance, and creative problem-solving. Most importantly, players gain a sense of community and connection that can build resilience against stress, trauma, and long-term mental health symptoms. No experience is required. Adults. Thursdays 5:30-7:30 pm at the Commons.
