Have you ever experienced difficulty finding long-term change in therapy? Trying to navigate relationship tension, despair, various forms of anxiety, and the effects of trauma can be extremely difficult and confusing. This is why "commitment" is important to me. I aim to be committed in helping you throughout your therapy journey. In return, my ask of you is to actively participate and to be patient with yourself as you embark on your healing journey.
Since I specialize in trauma, I am certified in EMDR. I use other evidence-based practice like CBT and DBT in my practice as well. I desire to work with patients who are willing to put forth effort to experience change and are communicative around barriers to attendance. You will learn that I am flexible and understanding of life. I get it!
It is rewarding for me to see my patients make progress toward reaching their goals especially when my patients begin to understand the strength they possess and potential they have to navigate through their challenges.
