I am a licensed therapist specialized in working with Asians and Asian Americans struggling with relationship problems, cultural conflicts, identity issues, past traumas, and self-esteem struggles. Having grown up in two different cultures, I understand these challenges can feel even more overwhelming for individuals belonging to the second or 1.5 generation immigrants. The pressure to succeed as a child of immigrants, coupled with generational traumas and adherence to cultural norms, often intensifies these difficulties.
As a female Asian therapist, I have extensive experience working with the AAPI community and international students. Drawing from my own background, I have a personal understanding that allows me to provide culturally responsive care plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. I often integrate CBT, EMDR, and Person-Centered techniques in my work.
