Times of transition or loss can call up unresolved feelings from the past. Together we can move through and process your emotions so that you don't feel so alone in what you're experiencing. If you identify as a Highly Sensitive Person, I am here to help you learn new tools to navigate the overstimulating world we live in. A lot of people deal with their emotions by shoving them down and avoiding them- this doesn't work so well for HSPs. Together we can dive deep to understand why you're feeling what you're feeling and process through it. I am offering walk and talk/ hiking sessions near Portland if that is of interest to you.
It's up to you how we use the time in session. I individualize the sessions to what it is you need most and work closely with you to process painful feelings and experiences as they arise. Making space to allow ourselves to feel our most difficult feelings can help build resiliency, develop self-awareness and inspire positive change.
Clients tell me I am warm, open, non judgmental and have a calm and grounding presence. I know finding the right therapist for you can be so hard. I hope you will consider reaching out.
