Men's Intimacy & Sexual Recovery Group
-For men struggling with compulsive sexuality, love addiction, serial infidelity, obsessive relationships, and insecure attachment. -Facilitated by Scott Grupp, LMHC, Certified Sex Therapist & Sex Addiction Therapist. -Uses the task-centered approach to sexual addiction treatment developed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, along with experiential and process group therapy to affect change. Example group topics include: -Problems, Secrets and Excuses, -Grief and Loss, -Understanding Addictive Behavior, -Shame -Establishing/Maintaining Sobriety, -Trauma, -Healthy Sexuality, -Effective Communication, -Intimacy anorexia, -Mindfulness, -Defining and taking committed action toward values. The group is ongoing, and new members are permitted to join the first Wednesday of each month.
Healing in Connection: For Partners of Sex Addicts
Healing in Connection is specifically designed for Partners of Sex & Love Addicts. Through a combination of experiential work, group processing, and psychoeducation, partners will find a safe place here to heal and grow. This is an open, ongoing group, (with a minimum 4-week commitment) which allows members to form deeper connections with long-term opportunities for support, accountability and growth. Topics that will be addressed include: *PTSD *Discovery & Disclosure: Managing the Crisis and Emotional Aftershock *Processing Grief & Loss and Choosing Your Next Steps *Healthy Boundaries *Effective Communication *Breaking Free from the Drama *Recovering Healthy Sexuality & Your Conscious Sexual Self
