Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group
DBT is designed to help all people find balance in their life. In DBT you will learn skills and strategies to help "mindfully" evaluate the perceived polar opposites experienced in life. The four areas of DBT cover learning Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation and Distress Tolerance. It is found that these areas of functioning are affected by many issues and pitfalls in life that we get caught up in. It is the groups purpose to help those committed to the process gain relief from suffering through strengthening one's ability to grow in the four areas above through committed action.
