With all the therapists out there, why see me? 1) I have trained and supervised hundreds of psychologists, so you are seeing an expert 2) I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, am a tenured psychology professor at Long Island University, with 20 years of clinical experience 3) I am a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) psychologist with specialized training and I only accept a limited number of clients at any one time. This means that unlike many other overcommitted psychologists, I will give you my full attention, every time 4) I am a recognized expert, having appeared on MSNBC, Parents magazine, the Washington Post and other media outlets.
I have specialized training with adults and children, having trained at Cornell, Montefiore and Stony Brook. I treat anxiety (including panic disorder & OCD), depression, anger, and work and relationship issues. I also work with children, specializing in disruptive behavior (including ADHD), bedwetting, encopresis, bedtime problems, tics, and school refusal.
