Sometimes we need a space to explore what we feel. Everybody has problems. My belief is that talking about the things that hurt us and our insecurities are how we grow. So sessions with me are about being real. Sometimes we are going to have really bad days, but talking about our struggles can provide the opportunity to learn and move through them rather than avoid or suppress them. I am here to create a safe space & provide guidance as you work to uncover & navigate the process of healing. I am passionate about working with people to recover from abusive or complex relationships, depression, anxiety, and communication issues.
I specialize in trauma and EMDR but practice out of a variety of therapeutic approaches. By listening to your needs I hope we can find a therapeutic approach that works best for you. In session with me you can count on me to provide an accepting and nurturing environment where you have the opportunity to sincerely express yourself.
My hope is to provide a place to tell your story while identifying the roadblocks that distort perspectives which lead to negative emotions & maladaptive behaviors. By working together, I hope to bring about relational development, emotional awareness, self-regulation, and acknowledge & understand the impact of past traumas and attachment wounds.
