Often times when we feel stuck in our lives, it is because we are noticing a conflict in our internal world. Part of us feels one way, while another part feels very differently. It is my belief that we all enter this world with the capacity to feel grounded and at peace, yet as we experience the hardships of life, we lose connection with that inner safety. Instead, we begin to experience the burdens of shame, grief and/or loneliness; and parts of us take on roles that may show up as anxiety, perfectionism, sadness, self-criticism, dissociation - or many other symptoms, thoughts, or emotions that you find yourself struggling with.

I'm level 2 IFS trained and am passionate about using "parts work" to help clients get to know their internal world on a whole new level, ultimately releasing those burdens. This is how I can help you get back to yourSelf; a place where you are living your life led by curiosity, compassion, clarity, calmness, courage, confidence, creativity, & connectedness.

In getting to know ourSelves and by fostering compassion for the complexities that come with being human, we are better able to offer this same compassion to ourSelves and to others. IFS is an experiential model, and often times involves going inside of ourselves and connecting with younger parts of us to help them find healing. This then allows other parts of ourselves to relax, which results in a reduction of frustrating symptoms.

AAMFT Approved Group Supervision

One Sunday of each month, from 11am-2pm, practice owner Cadey Phipps, LMFT runs an AAMFT-Approved supervision group. This group is currently being run via Zoom. Cadey's group supervision style combines person-of-the-therapist work with case consultation, ethics, and admin considerations, as Cadey is always interested in how supervisees are doing as people beyond their therapist parts. Cost is $25/clinical hour. Contact Cadey for more information - all are welcome.

Experiential IFS Group Supervision

This supervision group is open to any therapists/coaches/healers wanting to explore their therapist parts through an experiential IFS lens. Please note this is NOT therapy, but it will likely feel therapeutic and be vulnerable. Participants will come to group with their own parts related to their therapeutic work, maybe something or someone with whom they may feel activated or “stuck”, and we will explore this part using IFS while the rest of the group holds space and shares their own Self energy, with time at the end to process and ask questions.
