I believe life unfolds perfectly for each of us, even when we feel blocked or overwhelmed. When we learn how to work with our emotions and our life - instead of against them - they naturally help us learn and grow. My aim is to help my clients experience that directly, rather than simply talking or thinking about what that's like. I offer talk therapy and EMDR therapy (a unique, evidence-based treatment). Many describe EMDR as a way to process in a few sessions feelings of anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues they hadn't been able to get unstuck from in months or years of previous therapy or self-help.
EMDR is a wonderful evidence-based treatment option to consider in therapy. My area of focus is helping clients who describe themselves as deep feelers, deep thinkers, or otherwise interested in operating outside the conventional way of doing things. They want to feel better but also hold a deep curiosity for the patterns that arise in their life.
