I feel that I "see" people who often feel "unseen." I help people who are exhausted, depressed and anxious from masking. Masking is attempting to reduce or hide needs and symptoms to blend in with others, usually to avoid being treated differently.
My approach is rooted in acceptance and compassion. I use evidence based interventions; considering emotions, culture, and neurobiology. We will work on self-compassion, vulnerability, communication; healthy coping skills and boundaries.
