With each of my clients, I work to improve the quality of life beyond the most pressing issues. My approach is honest, direct, present and future focused, and goal oriented. As a therapist, I work with individuals and couples to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional issues. I address my client's thought processes, feelings, and behavior to find new ways to deal with, and alleviate, distress. I have a special interest in Women's Issues including: self-esteem, anxiety, depression, parenting, relationships, career, and divorce.
During couples counseling and marital therapy, I focus on the relationship as my client. Each relationship is unique and can often be complex. In addition to focusing on the immediate concerns or issues, I challenge my couples to find new ways to reconnect with their partner.
