I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a somatic experiencing practioner. I specialize in trauma resolution therapies such as EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. My work is polyvagal informed and an approach that seeks to heal anxiety, depression, and PTSD through nervous system regulation. I also specialize in assisting clients experiencing a faith transition or recovering from spiritual abuse. I am passionate about supporting you to have a different therapy experience, where you leave feeling like you did more than just "talk." The work I do in session is integrative and a whole-body approach to healing.
My extensive experience working with survivors of trauma and my own history with religious trauma means that I’m speaking the same language as my clients. New clients often say that they were able to skip the part where they “explain themselves” to feel seen and understood. We’re able to build a sense of mutual trust — and so they can experience change fast.
