I work with all ages from young children to adults. I spend the majority of my time specializing in working with children, parents, trauma (including TBI), ADHD, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues. I am a Master's student at UVU studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach to therapy utilizes Adlerian therapy as well as other therapies including acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and rational emotive therapy (REBT). I like to incorporate a holistic mind-body approach as it can help a person gain a greater understanding of themselves & increase self-esteem.
I have worked with teens in residential treatment centers for a couple of years where I had the opportunity to work with people from all over the United States with many different mental health concerns.
I believe that people have the potential for greatness. Just as our bodies possess the innate ability to heal physically, so do we possess the capacity for emotional and mental recovery. Supporting this process involves nurturing ourselves, practicing patience, and allowing time for restoration.
