I believe that trauma is the universal experience --we all carry trauma with us--which is why I'm a trauma therapist with a focus on complex PTSD. I am EMDR-trained but I draw on many therapeutic modalities to meet my client's needs. To me, therapy is about releasing the things that prevent us from moving toward ease in our daily lives, in our relationships, and in the way we show up in the world.
I'm a trauma and sex-positive therapist. I use a lot of attachment and somatic elements in my work. I work with trauma-informed substance abuse, sexual trauma, and complex PTSD. Many of my clients are full-time creatives (performers and artists) and most of my clients are highly-to-profoundly intellectually gifted.
