Sometimes, we just want to find "home," that place within us that is our true self and that validates who we are and what we believe in but that often gets in conflict with others who want us to change in order to fit what they want us to be. I partner with my clients to help them find that place of home as they deal with life changes and transitions that may result in depression, anxiety, relationship issues, a search for purpose and meaning of a wish for personal growth.
My sub-specialties around loss and grief include supportive counseling for individuals dealing with a life limiting illness, those in the helping professions dealing with personal death loss, adults who experienced a death loss when they were a child and parents who have experienced the death of a child.
I also facilitate an eight week support program for children ages 6 - 12 who have experienced a death loss.
