Having had meaningful therapy experiences myself, I know what a difference it can make. I work primarily with teens and young adults and find myself connecting strongly to those who are extra hard on themselves. This may include individuals grappling with challenges such as feelings of depression and/or anxiety, tendencies towards people-pleasing and/or perfectionism, and self-critical beliefs. I also work with many client’s who are seeking a better understanding of why they feel the way they do and who are searching for further insight into who they are in this often chaotic world.
Therapeutically, you can expect me to meet you exactly where you’re at. I approach therapy without a sense of hierarchy and instead with the spirit of collaboration and an overwhelming sense of compassion. I see myself as someone who holds space for you to be to you, with no judgment or pressure-y expectations to be something or someone else. You are enough.
Really what I want you to know though is that I’m going to take what I know and apply it to your unique personality, perspective, and needs. While I am trained in EMDR, I'm not a one-size-fits-all therapist, but rather someone who gets that no one exactly like you has ever lived before and you need and deserve an approach that reflects that.
