Do you have an experience of trauma, anxiety, pain, or ongoing health challenges? I specialize in these areas and am also passionate about supporting people living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). As an integrative somatic trauma psychotherapist, I weave elements of various somatic modalities into a framework of EMDR and Brainspotting. These work with the self-healing aspects of our biology, restoring balance to the nervous system, and influencing neural patterning so that deep and lasting change can occur. Combining interventions in a patient-centered and theory-driven approach promotes improved treatment outcomes.

My background is in psychology and clinical social work, with nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field. I often treat medical and clinician associated trauma and primarily offer intensives/customized accelerated programs and/or work as an adjunct trauma-focused therapist. It is an honor to hold an attuned space on each healing journey.

Wandering Together: Outdoor Group Therapy

This group involves walking meditations in nature, expressive eco arts, sensory awareness activities, and verbal group processing. Walking induces bilateral stimulation, which helps to integrate our emotional and cognitive experiences. As a result, we gain a greater ability to process our thoughts and feelings. Walking, being in nature, and expanding our sensory awareness can also help to integrate our nervous system, which supports emotional regulation, mindfulness, trauma recovery, and more.
