I work well with people who are longing to know themselves in a deeper way and feel more connected to life and soul. In therapy we create a relationship that allows pain (often from the past) to surface in order to be held and understood. Much of our pain is not just individual, but is rather connected to our collective and ancestral histories. Acknowledging this larger context can help bring insight and compassion, and restore a sense of belonging. Therapy is also a space to learn to listen to what is trying to emerge from within yourself for the future. Therapy provides a space to protect and nurture new growth and possibilities.
I'm trained primarily in depth psychology, and specifically in the tradition of Carl G. Jung. I encourage clients to bring in their night dreams to therapy as they are an invaluable source from the unconscious that can give direction for our work and support your growth. My style is warm, approachable, collaborative, and intuitive.
