I have been providing treatment to adolescents and adults in the Bay Area since 2011. I view therapy as a collaborative process and feel strongly that treatment is most effective when individuals can share their feelings and thoughts openly. To that end, building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect is vital to a successful outcome. I use a treatment approach that is warm and welcoming and try to remain authentic and accepting in sessions.

I have extensive experience working with people struggling with anxiety and relationship issues. I have particular interest in working with OCD and am skilled in exposure and response prevention techniques. I also have specialized training in reduction of tics and have experience treating body focused repetitive behavior (hair pulling, skin picking).

While I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology, my undergraduate studies were focused on child development. There I learned the importance of relationships and how our environment shapes our view of and interactions with others.
