I will bring years of experience, the best of my professional training, and a warm, engaged, insightful, presence to our work together. I help those who suffer from childhood trauma, or who struggle with anxiety/ depression to move out of hopelessness and experience expanded well being. I work with couples to help decrease conflict and create more loving, satisfying relationships. I work with spiritual practitioners who want to address emotional stumbling blocks.
My training includes AEDP, which combines attachment and somatic orientations, informed by neurobiological research; EFCT, an attachment oriented approach to couple's work, and psychoanalytic training. Twenty years of Buddhist vipassana (mindfulness) meditation practice deeply informs my work. I am grounded in, and draw from both eastern and western psychologies.
