I'm a humanistic, strengths based provider and possess a strong background in evidenced based, trauma informed treatment approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Treatment, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Positive Psychology. I also favor skill building and creative interventions that foster the development of resiliency and growth.
I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, as well as exploring challenges relating to gender and sexual identity, grief/loss, spirituality, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships. I'm also skilled with stress and anger management and encourage overall wellness through self-care practices including mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and exploring a spiritual connection.
