I have been a therapist for over 12 years and love working with motivated clients! I provide a outside perspective, hope, and teach skills that improve relationships. My approach looks at how the role we played in our childhood, influences our current relationships, especially as a parent or spouse. I enjoy working with married couples who are experiencing conflict, especially while raising their children. I am also a certified perinatal therapist and enjoy supporting women in postpartum. I teach skills that are based in neuroscience. Together, we will look how your nervous system was wired to think and behave how you do. You will learn why you look to your spouse or kids to meet some of the same needs your parents were supposed to meet. I help you get clear on your therapy goals. We assess them weekly to make sure change is happening!
I am a wife and mother of 3 children who has greatly benefitted from therapy and learning new skills. My faith has been essential to seeing changes in my parenting and marriage. I work with those from a variety of faith backgrounds or those who have been hurt or confused by religion. My style is direct, goal-oriented, and utilizes a coaching approach.
