In this workshop we focus on the common challenges that couples face when they become parents. We will look at managing expectations, understanding parenting dreams and how to create time for your relationship after baby arrives. This workshop is for couples who are planning to have children, expecting children or have a child ages 0-3. Navigating parenting is one challenge, nurturing your relationship AND navigating parenting is another. In this group we talk about the challenges, learn strategies (and fun stuff) about relationship and how to nurture our relationships create healthy families. This workshops is psychoeducational (not therapy) and is best attended by a caregiving team (parents, caregiving grandparents, etc.) as we will talk a lot about the adult relationships that support children and have exercises geared towards two people.
