Welcome to my page! I am so glad you found me. My name is Amy and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where I fell in love with the field of psychology. After that, I went on to earn my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from PBAU, where I honed my skills in helping people overcome life's challenges. I have worked with a wide range of clients, from individuals to couples to families, and I have helped them navigate through a variety of issues.
My approach is warm and down-to-earth, but also professional. I believe that therapy should be a safe and comfortable space where you can be yourself and explore your thoughts and feelings. My therapeutic style is focused on active listening and empathy, as well as a touch of humor when appropriate.
I truly believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I am committed to helping my clients achieve their goals. I take a client-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. If you are looking for a counselor who is warm, compassionate, and professional, I would love to work with you. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
