Currently, we live in an age that allows for us to disconnect from emotions and our bodies; while subscribing to a culture of suppressing emotions, over extending ourselves with busy schedules, and being unforgiving of failure.
As a therapist, it is my goal for the client to feel understood, self-determine goals, and feel safe; while working towards freedom from emotional pain, ability to manage life’s problems, and finding purpose in life. Integration of yoga and guided meditation can provide another avenue as evidenced based practices and connecting the mind and body.
With authenticity and compassion, each client has the opportunity to a build trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, while working towards personally determined goals. It would be an honor and privilege to guide those in search of deeper connection with the self.
