I bring flexibility, compassion, and optimism to my work as a clinical psychologist. With specialized training in Body Focused Repetitive Disorders (trichotillomania/hair pulling & skin picking), Autism, and different anxiety conditions, I will help you feel understood and supported as we collaborate to come up with an action plan to move forward. My goal is help you reduce suffering and feelings of isolation and anxiety, and actualize a full and meaningful life. Recognizing that treatment is not a one-size-fits-all experience, our work together will be tailored to address your unique struggles and goals.
Trained in cognitive behavior therapy, I will help you overcome difficult life changes, school related anxiety, difficulties in relationships, organization and executive functioning challenges, strong negative emotions and unhealthy urges such as skin picking and hair pulling. I also provide SPACE training, a parent based program for children with anxiety.
With a clear plan, you will learn usable tools and coping strategies to apply out of session and to expand your life. I also work with parents and families to learn new ways of coping with and create lasting and healthy change in these conditions. To accommodate your busy schedule, I have flexible scheduling with both night and weekend hours.
