Hi, I'm Alexandria. I own Mindful Perceptions and have recently added a new clinician to my practice, Maya. Life is often fast-paced and overwhelming; going to to therapy shouldn't cause you more distress. We recognize that you are an individual and tailor therapeutic process to your personality and needs. We will do our best to meet you where you are, help you gain insight into past experiences, and gently challenge you to reach your goals.

We view mental health like a plant. If you nurture it, it will grow. If you neglect it, it can't receive the nutrients it needs to survive. Sometimes we need help taking care of our plants! Therapeutic elements combine to help you thrive instead of just survive!

At Mindful Perceptions, we believe individuals are a product of their environments and tend to focus on relationships between individuals (family-of-origin, couples, friendships, etc.) to gain understanding of thought processes, values, and triggers.
