I am a supportive, compassionate and empathetic therapist with years of experience working with a diverse population of individuals largely specializing in developmental trauma, PTSD, many other traumas, anxiety and depression. My approach is eclectic; mostly influenced by Gestalt psychology, Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) therapy with their shared roots in existential phenomenology, person-centered attitude, and body -mind awareness.
PBSP is a robust and elegant theory with powerful methods that help one create new memories. This approach offers solutions to psychological trigger points so that clients can establish new brain pathways that offer new possibilities to think differently about themselves and to feel more alive and in touch with their body.
The clients are feeling happier, healthier, balanced with hope-filled lives ahead of them. In the prophetic words of Carl Jung, "I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become". Start your journey today! As a certified clinical supervisor for AMFT's, ASWs and APCCs I welcome my colleagues to reach out to start working in private practice.

We use microtracking, which awakens the client's present adult consciousness to the issues of their past. In the session, which we call a Structure, we watch the client's face and body language and listen to his/hers words and in the role of witness, give names to the emotions rising up out of the unconscious. Gradually they become aware of the memory of the event that is at the root of the issues

By using objects to represent loved and negative aspects of figures from the client's past, we externalize those memories, then, on the stage where that memory is played out, we change the action through role-playing with idealized figures who enact longed-for outcomes. This helps the client satisfy unmet needs of the past and constructs a new positive memory.
