I specialize in integrating mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy with a "here and now" existential approach to treatment. I work to balance providing concrete tools that will help a client feel better, in addition to developing a supportive and compassionate therapeutic alliance to help a client move towards life goals.
In addition to being a licensed psychologist and supervisor of doctoral students at a local university, I have been practicing as a yoga and meditation teacher for over ten years. If you are interested in yoga and meditation, this can absolutely be integrated into the work we will do.
