Hello! My name is Alex (they/them). I am a helper and trained counselor welcoming clients who have specifically been ostracized or misunderstood by the mental health industrial complex. Currently, services geared towards helping are explicitly gate kept by colonist practices, ableist perspectives, carceral state interventions, financial inaccessibility, treatment stigma, and other barriers rooted in the shameful, foundational practices of white supremacy and western culture. My work is specifically political, and intended to help clients cultivate a more liberated life. I curate space for healing as well as dream building.

I am an eclectic teacher and helper with a trauma informed practice. I primarily find flow in insight driven exploration, Jungian based shadow work, dream interpretation, and collaborative relationship building. I teach meditation skills, emotional regulation skills, as well as working with inner worlds/parts work.

I believe the major source of distress is the material reality which cultivates and mediates the perceived distance between the actual (life as is; life we do not feel responsible for) and the ideal (life that we value; life we wish to be responsible for). Together, we can actualize a life worth living.
