Life can be challenging, and we may feel that we have to just keep going and suck it up, which may lead us to feel lonelier and more overwhelmed. In my experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and previous experience as a yoga instructor I have found that the combination of mindfulness, self-awareness, and processing trauma can be quite powerful in finding our authentic selves.
Therapy may allow you to break free of past hurts, negative relational patterns, and trauma. While we cannot rewrite the past, sharing our stories can lead to insights, self-compassion and empathy for ourselves and others; this tends to help us leave those stories in the past so that we may create new ones that make life feel easier, happier, and lighter.
I specialize in treating individuals who are seeking relief from anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I find great meaning and purpose in my work with my clients. I am passionate about creating an atmosphere that allows clients to share their stories, so that they may feel empowered and find a sense of peace.
