Like people, trauma can be individualized. I'd love to listen to any concerns like anxiety or depression that are causing you to feel stuck. Most people struggling with their mental health feel disconnected and isolated. Let's build community with one another. I understand how trauma can play a role in how we function day to day, and I believe there are many different methods to combat this, which is why I incorporate EMDR therapy to help relieve that trauma. I am a Person-Centered counselor who understands that you are the expert of your story. I am trained in EMDR, which works to reduce PTSD by unlocking the brain and reprocessing traumatic material. I also have training in Cognitive-Processing therapy, which connects our thoughts, behaviors, and feelings and redirects negative thoughts as we reprocess trauma.
Your voice matters, and I would love to provide a space for you to be heard. I am available for Telehealth counseling both afternoons and evenings, and hopefully within the next year I will be providing in-person sessions.
