Every client's presenting issue is different, therefore, it is important for me as a Psychiatric Mental Health Provider to provide a solution-oriented, inclusive, evidence based as well as holistic approach in their treatment. Clients expect to walk away being prescribed up to date psychiatric medications. Education will be provided patients, families and their caregivers arming them with tools necessary to achieve and maintain optimal mental health status. Follow up care is also a tool I use by which medication compliance is checked to help them achieve both short-term and long-term goals related to their care.
As a psychiatrist and a provider of care, my goal is to work with each patient and their support system to provide individualized, client centered treatment, as well as play the role of consultant, educator, advocate and researcher to ensure my client's needs are met.
