At Peak Sports Psychiatry, PLLC, I focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing the mental health challenges that may arise in elite sport. Utilizing a nuanced, athlete-informed approach, I complete a thorough diagnostic evaluation and then collaboratively develop an individualized treatment plan for each athlete with the goal of optimizing performance on and off the field. Treatment options may include individual therapy, medication management, and practical advice/coaching to optimize sleep, nutrition, exercise, coping skills, and relationships (with family members, teammates, coaches, etc).
My sport-specific training includes earning the International Olympic Committee's Diploma in Mental Health in Elite Sport, the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, and an additional training certificate from the International Society for Sports Psychiatry. I have experience working with Olympians, college/pro athletes, and those on elite club and HS teams.
In addition, I have consulted for various professional organizations and created an e-learning course on mental health and sport. Please note that my practice is fee-for-service, meaning that I do not file with insurance and will be listed as out-of-network. I will be happy to provide a superbill to patients seeking reimbursement through their insurance.
