I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with DNP. Currently, I am a Provider here in Icon Clinic LLC in Greenbelt Maryland. I choose to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner because of the desire I have in helping people. That philosophy is one which I will stand by throughout my duration in this career. It will be based on providing competent, empathetic, compassionate, and holistic care to the best of my ability without bias. This philosophy or values I believed was in me from birth - The spirit of caring and giving to the fullest. These values are accompanied by respect, and trustworthiness.
As a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I do Initial psychiatric in-depth Evaluations which includes details assessment of patient's history, present illness, generate diagnosis, and treatments options. Then follow up visits and medication management where I assess progress treat accordingly.
My experience has helped me to understand the philosophy of health care. My education has exposed me to variety of health care settings and I will continue to use these experiences to deliver a quality care. Your mental health is my priority and you are not alone.
