I am a board certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. I have held various leadership and director positions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I currently maintain a private practice that focuses on providing personal, caring and expert treatment of psychiatric illnesses.
I am a New Orleans native and attended UCLA and Tulane for undergraduate studies in psychology and biology. I attended LSU-New Orleans for medical school and attended Tulane for my residency in psychiatry where I served as Chief Resident. I feel privileged to serve the community in which I was raised and now live.
In 2017 I updated my training at Duke University in TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). TMS is a non-medication FDA approved treatment for treatment resistant depression.
