I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner, working predominantly with children/families and young adults in the Hudson Valley. I hold master's degrees from Drexel University and Columbia University. As both a social worker and a nurse, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including inpatient care, family systems/school-based, and outpatient services. The goal of medication treatment is to help reduce symptoms, improve functioning, and enhance your overall well-being. I strive to use the least amount of medication necessary to achieve your desired outcome.
In addition to medication management, I’m trained in various modalities of psychotherapy (focus on CBT/DBT) and often combine both. We will incorporate holistic practices and determine how to bring them into your/your child's daily life in a way that feels comfortable and sustainable for your family.
My goal is to empower you to tap into your own strengths and support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth. If you have had unfavorable experiences with medication management in the past, I am here to listen and collaboratively develop your treatment plan.
