I have extensive experience with all types of trauma survivors, including survivors of sexual and physical abuse. I am grounded in a solid Christian faith and am comfortable exploring aspects of spirituality. I have strengths in the areas of empathy, positivity, winning others over, and strategy.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help relieve symptoms like intrusive thoughts or nightmares. I am specially trained to work with police and other first responders and I am a registered play therapist as well.

Groups
Christian-Based DBT Group
This DBT group is for females only. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) combines cognitive-behavioral techniques for emotional regulation and reality testing. A 6-month commitment is required for participation. Members work on 25 skills in the areas of recognizing and regulating emotions, tolerating distress, and improving relationships. This program has been adapted to incorporate the Christian faith and strengths.
