I am a licensed therapist with more than twenty years of experience. I believe therapy can open doors to better relationships and personal happiness. My approach is gentle and supportive. I believe that each individual has the ability to change and grow, and therapy provides tools to assist in the process. I have experience working with clients on stress, anxiety, family concerns, trauma, grief and other life issues. I also work extensively with the military and their family members and have specialized training in the unique issues of the members of our armed services.
I am a person-centered Adlerian therapist. I utilize tools from cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy, as well as many others. I work with a client to set goals and develop treatment strategies. I have training in treating PTSD in children and adults. I also have 15 years of experience in the field of education as a teacher and counselor.
