Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Beginning in the spring of 2019, Dr. Griffiths will be teaching MBSR at her news location at The Marketplace at the Steamtown Mall. MBSR is an evidence-based modality proven to effectively treat multiple psychological and medical conditions. It is a formal 8-week long program that meets for 2 1/2 hours a week with a day long intensive in between weeks 6 and 7. It was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts.
