I work with individuals who are noticing a change in themselves through life transition, relationship loss, grief symptoms, feeling sadness 'when everything seems fine.' I work with clients who are experiencing long established triggers and grief symptoms through gentleness, safety, and respect for defenses. I have faith in the natural tendency of humans to grow toward healing and integration of mind, body, and spirit.
Every individual has strengths. My work with individuals uses these strengths and the therapeutic relationship to give space to the sometimes over-whelming nature of emotional work. In my practice I work using mindfulness techniques and body awareness to allow integration of mind, emotion, body and spirit.
Choosing to trust someone else with your problems is a big decision and may feel like a big risk. Choosing not to care for yourself is a bigger risk. If you have come this far in seeking help, take a small step to have a conversation with a potential therapist to see if feels like a good fit. Trust yourself!
