I have over 25 years of experience guiding clients to achieve optimal well being and performance. Taking a team approach with my clients and strongly believing in the value of the therapeutic relationship, I empower you to make decisions in the treatment process. As opposed to some approaches of therapy which may take several years, I believe in the efficacy of a briefer counseling model which includes solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapies. In addition to private practice, I am a retired a Educational Leader in pre-k to 12th grade schools, and have worked as a School Psychologist, Social Worker, Director of Student Services, and Associate Superintendent. I have a wealth of knowledge regarding education, 504 plans, and IEP's. I also work with adult males on a variety of issues.
I have extensive experience with children, adolescents, couples, and families with ADHD, ANGER, ANXIETY, AUTISTIM SPECTRUM, BEHAVIOR, LEARNING, MOOD DISORDERS, CAREER CHALLENGES, DEPRESSION, OCD, EATING DISORDERS, and FEARS/PHOBIAS. I am the father of 3 children; and know the challenges of parenting a child with learning and emotional needs.
