We all experience things such as anxiety, fear, anger, sadness and problems with relationships. You and I can work together in an informal relaxed atmosphere towards achieving contentment.
My work is influenced by the 12-steps and Smart Recovery; as these principles apply to everyone. Therefore I work towards "the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things I can" as well as the means to put this into practice.

This group is mutually supportive as well as educational. Members discuss the emotional roller coaster of being close to someone suffering through addiction. Topics include; healthy boundaries, detaching with love, enabling, taking care of self and if, how and when to help. Members are encouraged to share their experiences, process feelings and discuss what has worked for them. We are strengths based in our orientation (as often times loved ones feel guilt and blame about another's addiction).

This group focuses on the multiple roles men typically inhabit. The goal of the group is, through fellowship, to support each other in living up to our higher selves as; partners, spouses, dads, sons, employees, providers, problem solvers, managers and any other roles. How we were raised, and cultural, community and societal expectations are part of who we are, how we act and who we become. Identifying characteristics of our "higher selves" and genuinely putting forth effort to strive in that direction, is the overall purpose of the group.
