I bring over 25 years of experience to my work as a psychotherapist. Working with children, teens and adults has enabled me to develop a unique perspective on how the difficulties of childhood impact people all through their lives. I have a rich background to draw upon with each new patient I meet. If you are struggling with family, work or relationship issues or the symptoms of anxiety or depression, we will work to get at the root of the problems and solve them together.
As a certified Child and Adolescent therapist, I have specialized training and years of experience in helping children overcome academic, behavioral and social problems and have been very effective utilizing creative play and talk therapy to help them get back on track to a healthy and normal development.
For many years in a previous career, I was a Physician's Assistant and worked in various medical settings. I bring a substantial amount of knowledge from this time to my present work which can be especially useful for those with medical issues and chronic pain.

Teens and Self-esteem
Teenage girls notoriously have lots of self-esteem issues. They are unhappy with their appearance and weight, their social lives and sometimes their ability to compete academically. Pressures on them seem to be larger then in previous generations. Since teens flourish in groups with their peers this can be the best way to help them cope with the stresses of being a teenager. This group led by me will address any and all the issues that adolescents are struggling with today.
