I am a clinical supervisor for LPC residents, and supervisor for play therapy certification to become an RPT. A strong focus in family systems and internal family systems. I actively include parents and families in the treatment process. Also, a specialty with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, and trauma. I pull from treatment protocols that include CBT, Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. I have a background in substance abuse counseling and value meeting a client where they are in strengths and struggles. I value a safe therapeutic environment and strong therapeutic relationship for success in therapy.
I create treatment based on client needs and how they come into the office. The client helps set the pace and decide what they want to work on. I know it's scary taking this step to seek a professional to help solve personal issues, but always know that I respect the client's need to set the tone and speak for themselves on what they want from therapy.
I am an active and lively therapist. I do play therapy with children as young as 5 years old. I also enjoy the personal and healing work that can come after trauma and loss with all ages. I have the most experience working with teens regarding anxiety, depression, ADHD, sexuality, relationships, family conflict, and recently supporting transgender issues.

Group therapist will use EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and other strength-based activities to build safety and healing. Process time will be a strong component of group therapy to offer connection and community to work against isolation, shame, and loneliness. Dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Emotional safety, connection, and sharing without triggering will be important goals in group together. Individual therapy with a therapist will be a requirement of group members as this group therapy would be a supplemental support in healing from trauma.
