A lot of people come to therapy with questions: Why isn’t my life working? Why do I feel so sad? What is going on with me that I feel so stuck? How do I deal with THIS? When will the madness, the stuck-ness, my misery, end? Where have I gone wrong? As our world is changing, so it demands us to evolve. Whether we are trying to overcome or let go of an old story, learn new boundaries, find love, or find our true path, “therapy,” a wide umbrella with many ways of untangling our confusions and sorrows, has evolved too. We have largely grown beyond a model of dis-ease into one of seeking wholeness, seeking self-love.
With healing, we start to recognize yet another call: we may yearn to live a more meaningful life, find our own unique path for whatever is next, become a deeply connected soul. But how do we get there? Together we weave a tapestry of recognition. Using my skills in psychotherapy, energy, meditation, and/or astrology, the chaos subsides; your path emerges.
A seeker since childhood, I’ve been drawn to many mysteries, starting with psychology, then metaphysics, then meditation. Holistic medicine has been my mainstay and instilled in me the profound interconnectedness of body mind and soul. People are shifting quickly. You can too.

After teaching meditation for several years, I've put these classes on hold since the pandemic. However, some clients have requested a brief introduction to meditation in the context of a therapy session. Most students discover they actually can meditate, and they come to love it, long for it, and find it subtly yet profoundly changing their lives for the better. As the interest in resuming classes has been high, I'll continue to assess and hope to resume classes again soon.

This is a time for exploration, of how we've been shaped by our relationship with our fathers, good, bad, present, or even non-existent. For both men and women, whether parents or never having been a parent. Fathering has many ways of impacting us, both obvious and subtle. The objective is to increase our awareness of what fathers have meant for us, how we've been disappointed, and how to heal, forgive if warranted, and grow. Looking to start in May or June, times TBD.
